Recorded on October 13 2010 from http://websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901/ online shortwave receiver. This ham operator had decent conditions, listen to the contacts he makes on 20 Meters.
Another concept for DXFM 95.7 fm.
A promo for the station that doesn't exist yet.
17 minutes of dance tracks (from creative commons).
I was bored so I threw together a few Dance Tracks found on various websites offering royalty free music under the Creative Commons license.
This podcast really didn't blend as well as I would have liked it too.
I tried several different ideas but it still wouldn't come together.
Anyway, there it is.
P.S.
I am thinking about programming a dance format for the weekends on Rock 95.7 fm, but right now it is on the back burner.
New Station ID for Rock 95.7 FM
This station i.d. was made in about 1 hour using free FX and Voice Files from various websites. The whole thing was edited using Audacity Free Editing Software. It has sort of a electrical feel to it. Should be for a dance station but was made for my low power rock station.
This is from April 14 2010.
I was dx'ing on medium wave 520 to 1710 khz when i ran across this station on 1540 khz.
The radio i used believe it or not was a Sony am/fm Walkman.
I could not get a clear I.D. since there was a local station trying to take this frequency back.
You will hear a lot of flutter. Maybe some of the listeners can tell me what this station was.
